The folks over at Sole Sirius have posted an interview with artist Jake Messing of the popular sneaker art website Sneakerprints.com. You can catch a glimpse of the studio the prints are manufactured and some of the history of origin. Check out the full interview after the jump.
JM: Skating really, i would be skating and seeing Nike SB and asking people “Oh where’d you get those” and getting answers like “i don’t know maybe Ebay”, you know what i’m saying everyone sort of had their story so it became more and more elusive and i just became more interested in them. Some of my first pairs where from the silver and pink box [era] that i sort of skated to the ground, like a pair of send helps that i had my toe sticking out of.
