Over the weekend Eric Koston showed us a preview of the Lunar Insole technology that is to be incorporated into his first pro model on SB, the Eric Koston 1. What you may not have known is the upcoming iteration of Paul Rodriguez next pro-model, the P-Rod 5 will incorporate the same Lunarlon technology only instead on the outsole.
The approach of the Lunarlon tech in each sneaker entertains the concept of Yin and Yang. The concept of Yin Yang is used to describe how  contrary forces are interconnected and interdependent, and how they give rise to each other in turn. Complementary opposites that interact within a greater whole, as part of a dynamic system (Lunarlon Technology).
Seeing how Nike is now moving toward greener ‘Considered Designs‘ and how Vulcanized soles are not environmentally friendly. We imagine this should be a game changer not just for Nike SB, but for skateboarding footwear as a whole.
