When Eric Koston joined the Nike skate heads were stoked on the possibilities. Koston was always known as a shoe geek. Eric’s knowledge combined with the unlimited possibilities of Nike’s R&D department should make up for skate shoe greatness. Eric’s stamp on the brand became clear with his Dunk lows from the Icon x Icon series that dropped last summer. Thanks to Warped we can tell you that the improvements in heel padding and the new sole are now going to be part of all SB Dunks starting 2011. With the recently released Zoom FP (where Eric has worked on as well) and his pro-model coming out next year the impact of Koston is a force to be reckoned with.
