This time last year, the hype was brewing around the debut of Eric Koston’s first signature shoe for Nike. Grabbing a lot of the attention was the Koston x Kobe ‘Black Mamba’ version, which hit a handful of stores as a quickstrike release (rather than the hyperstrike version, which only very few people stood a chance of grabbing).
One of the UK shops to get pairs was London’s Slam City Skates. Just a couple of weeks short of the anniversary of the release, one pair has been discovered behind a desk in the Slam warehouse and is back on the shelf. This is good news for one small-footed person – they are size UK 5.5 (US 6.5) – especially since they are also on sale, with a price tag of £64.95, rather than the UK box price of £90.
There’s a chance the shoes been snapped up already, but if you want them, contact the store.
