As most of the sneaker community knows by now, Premier Skateshop is in the midst of 15 days of "mystery" restocks of older Nike SBs. Initially they had posted they would restock one shoe per day, but now by day 3, Premier has been consistently posting two pairs per day. It seems as though this trend will continue for the duration of the restock period.
When I first heard the restock news I was excited to see what Premier had up their sleeve, but I was also interested in how they were able to pull this off. I'm sure I'm not the only one who was asking questions like, "What are they going to restock?", "What sizes are they going to have?", "How far back are they going with these restocks?", and lastly "Why are they doing this in the first place?".
A bunch of members have been trying to answer some of these questions in The forums so jump in there to get some insight on some educated guesses. One thing that seems to be unanimously agreed on is that Premier is only going to be listing blue box era SBs and thus far this assumption has been correct. Nike is no stranger to restocks as they have been replenishing their online Jordan and Nike Basketball accounts periodically, but restocking SBs is new territory.
