UPDATE: This is a custom, not happening.
It should come as no surprise as Nike owns Converse (CONS), it also helps when the person injecting life into their skate division is a veteran from the early days of the Nike SB. Already having fused the Lunarlon technology into some of their skate line up, we've been hearing some buzz of a possible collaboration combining Nike SB and Converse. Whether it's been Cory Kennedy skating the unknown model to random internet chatter, today we see the first look at the Converse x Nike SB "All Star" Blazer.
This isn't the first time Nike SB has brushed with the idea of a collaboration with Converse. You may remember the HUF collab 2009 back when they were a shop out in San Francisco. The release consisted of two pairs of blazer highs that were inspired Chuck Taylors alongside an apparel line.
While no release date is set, we imagine their should be some announcements soon.. or then again it could just be a custom ala Supa Dunk SB Retro. What's your thoughts on the shoe? Sound off below…
