There's been a bit of a back and forth whether or not the QS version of the Walk of Fame Dunk from Nike SB would be releasing at all. At one point Brooklyn Projects even confirmed that the Chamber of Commerce in Hollywood was putting a kibosh on the sneaker but because the slow boat from China was already on its way the 500 pairs with the embroidered heel would be the only one's release. Successful in driving up the illusion of hype and exclusivity.
Many on the forums who have voiced their preference have stated they prefer the QS version over the one exclusive to Los Angeles. Thanks to Humidity Skate out of NOLA we now learn that it is set for an August release ( next couple of weeks ) and allocations will be fairly large and obtainable. Alongside we learn the MIA and Civilist Dunk will release this month.
So there you have it, if your not in Los Angeles you still have a chance to pick up this sneaker at your local next month or check with Brooklyn Projects as they are controlling the allocations of the Quickstrike
Here's another fun fact not rumor. We control what shops are getting and if they're getting the QS version.
