Its been a long time since Nike Sb dropped the classic Shanghai dunks in 2004. Today we take a nice glance on how dunk quality has evolved from 2004 to the present.
One of the most noticeable features that differ is the padding of the dunks themselves, as a quick glance between the two pairs will show that the OG's appear almost paper thin in regards to padding. Colors seem to be better defined on this retro also.
Other noticeable differences include a new insole graphic as well as an absence of a graphic on the sockliner with the retro. Surprisingly, the weight of the retros actually is less than the OG's which is nice to see.
Fans will note that this will be the very first Nike Sb dunk low retro to be released here in the US. Some mixed reviews have been reflected by the sneaker community with many feeling weary of the trend becoming a regular thing.
