Premier Boutique is proud to announce a very special launch event…..The return of the Adidas Crazy 1! Formerly known as “The Kobe”, it was donned during the 2000 season by Lakers guard Kobe Bryant. This was the first of three consecutive Lakers NBA title seasons. After 13 years, the model is back under a new name in the OG yellow/black colorway. The Crazy 1 yellow/black was produced in 2400 units total, a nod to “#24” of the Lakers.
Up and coming Golden State Warriors Forward, Harrison Barnes will wear the same Crazy 1’s as he takes on the Los Angeles Clippers on Christmas Night at Oracle Arena.
In coordination with Adidas Equipment, Harrison Barnes will be at Premier Boutique from 1-3pm on Thursday, December 26th to sign free autographs and meet with the frantic “Dub-Nation” fans. No purchase is required.
To commemorate the event, Premier and Adidas will offer limited edition collaboration Harrison Barnes T shirts along with the Crazy 1. Crazy 1 shoes are priced at $125. Shirt price is to be determined.
Fans are encouraged to bring their own items for autograph. Both the T-shirt and Crazy 1 shoes are a very nice collectable to have signed. Premier will provide copied photos as well. Autograph session is limited to 2 hours and priority will be given to those purchasing shoes and/or the special T’s. Both items will be available starting at 11am on December 26th.
In addition, Premier will offer a special giveaway to three lucky fans! Courtesy of Adidas, we are giving away three signed Harrison Barnes authentic uniforms. Signup starts December 17th and closes at the end of the event day.
The event is a must for sneaker and Warriors fans alike. Come join us as Premier, Adidas, and Harrison Barnes spread some Christmas cheer!

About The Crazy 1
Originally designed as “The Kobe” for Los Angeles Lakers guard Kobe Bryant. The model was introduced for the 2000 NBA season. The silhouette features an unorthodox upper shape similar to the Audi TT, a popular new sports car at the time. The molded front portion and heel resembled that of the lights and grill of the German sports car. “The Kobe” was a popular mainstay for up and coming athletes, both college and high school. Renamed the “Crazy 1” after a 13-year absence. The model is back for a reintroduction to today’s sneaker audience. The yellow/black colorway was manufactured in a run of 2400 pcs total. A nod to #24 of The Lakers. Available at fine Adidas retailers for $125 on December 26th, 2013.
About Harrison Barnes
After a successful High School basketball career for Ames High School in Iowa, Barnes was ranked one of the top recruits in the nation. He considered offers from such powerhouses as Duke, Iowa State, Kanas, North Carolina, Oklahoma, and UCLA. After heavy consideration, Harrison would choose the North Carolina Tar Heels as his next future alma mater.
After two successful seasons at North Carolina, Harrison would elect to enter the NBA early. He would end his college career with a 16.4 point and 5.5 rebound average over 75 games.
Barnes was selected #7 overall by the Golden State Warriors in the 2012 NBA draft. As a rookie, Barnes would mostly start as the Warriors compiled a 47-35 season. He would finish his rookie season with a 9.2 point and 4.1 rebound average over 81 games.
In absence of several injury-hampered teammates, Barnes would be heavily relied on against the Nuggets and Spurs during the 2012 playoffs. This included a 26 point, 10 rebound performance against the Spurs on May 12th, 2013. He would end the playoffs with a 16.1 point and 6.4 rebound average over 12 games. Harrison is known for his great floor game, defense, and above the rim dunks that earned him the nickname “Black Falcon”. He would end the year by being named to the NBA All Rookie First Team.
After missing the first few games due to injury, Harrison’s 2013 season has begun strong. Barnes is averaging 13.5 points and 3.8 rebounds per game. Highlights include a 26-point performance against the Oklahoma City Thunder. Harrison is one of six Warriors currently listed on the 2013 All Star Game ballot.
